PM: Russia ready to develop joint economic projects with Libya

PALERMO, Italy, Nov 13 (PRIME) -- Russia is ready to cooperate with Libya, including the development of joint economic projects, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said Tuesday following the international conference on Libya.

“We are ready to cooperate with them, ready to develop economic projects. The country is rich, the country has traditions, and we had very advanced contacts,” he said.

Medvedev added that this cooperation depends on national reconciliation in Libya and noted that if the political forces of the country fail to agree, such conferences will continue, since “a way out still has to be found.”
